Isadore Singer
Isadore Manuel Singer (* 3. máj 1924, Detroit, Michigan, USA – † 11. február 2021)[1][2][3] bol americký matematik a emeritný profesor matematiky na Massachusettskom technologickom inštitúte.[3]

Bol známy predovšetkým vďaka práci v diferenciálnej geometrii a diferenciálnej topológii a vďaka tzv. Atiyahovej-Singerovej vete o indexoch, ktorú objavil spoločne s Michaelom Atiyahom, a ktorá znamenala objav nových súvislostí medzi geometriou, topológiou, matematickou analýzou a teoretickou fyzikou.[1]
V roku 2004 dostal spoločne s Atiyahom Abelovu cenu.[1]
