Don Airey

Donald Smith "Don" Airey (* 21. júna 1948, Sunderland, Spojené kráľovstvo) je britský hráč na klávesové nástroje, ktorý od roku 2002 hrá v hardrockovej skupine Deep Purple, kde nahradil Jona Lorda.

Don Airey sa na hudobnej scéne pohybuje a tvorí už mnoho rokov. Spolupracoval s hudobníkmi ako Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Whitesnake, Colosseum II, Sinner, Michael Schenker, Uli Jon Roth, Rainbow, Divlje jagode a Living Loud, spolupracoval tiež s Andrew Lloyd Webberom.

Na klavír začal hrať ako sedemročný. Vyštudoval univerzitu v Nottinghame a v roku 1974 sa presunul do Londýna, kde sa pripojil k skupine Cozy Powella – Hammer.
