Cena Grammy za najlepší alternatívny album (angl. Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album) je ocenenie udeľované na slávnostnom odovzdávaní cien Grammy Awards, ktoré bolo založené v roku 1958 a pôvodne sa nazývalo Gramophone Awards.[1] V tejto kategórii sú oceňovaní umelci za kvalitu piesní v žánri alternatívnej hudby. Vyznamenania vo viacerých kategóriách každoročne udeľuje Národná akadémia umení a vied Spojených štátov s cieľom „oceniť umelecké úspechy, technické znalosti a celkovú excelentnosť v hudobnom priemysle bez ohľadu na predaj albumov alebo pozíciu v hudobných rebríčkoch“.[2]
