Freeman Dyson

Je známy najmä vďaka práci v oblasti kvantovej teórie poľa, fyziky tuhých látok a jadrového inžinierstva.[5] Popularizoval koncept tzv. Dysonovej sféry.
V roku 1981 dostal Wolfovu cenu za fyziku, v roku 1966 Lorentzovu medailu, v roku 2000 dostal Templetonovu cenu.
Bol praktikujúcim kresťanom a pacifistom.
