Stock Aitken Waterman

Stock Aitken Waterman, alebo tiež SAW, bolo anglické dance-popové skladateľské a produkčné trio, zložené z hudobných producentov Mike Stock, Matt Aitken a Pete Waterman. Považujú sa za britskú verziu Motown Records tria Holland–Dozier–Holland.

Dejiny

SAW bolo priekopníkom britskej verzie eurobeatu. Ich "unikátnym" zvukovým prejavom bolo miešanie klubových štýlov, hi-NRG, italo-disca a dokonca swingu s jednoduchým romantickým textom.[1] K svojej tvorbe používali elektronické hudobné nástroje ako Linn 9000, Yamaha DX7, Roland D-50.
