Walter Marx reprezentoval Slovensko na Zimných olympijských hrách 2006 v Turíne. Je vysoký 174 cm a váži 77 kg (údaj z roku 2006). Je členom strediska štátnej športovej reprezentácie Ministerstva vnútra SR ŠKP Štrbské Pleso, trénuje ho jeho otec Walter Marx starší.
