Magnetorecepce

Magnetorecepce je smysl organismu detekovat magnetické pole a využívat jej například k orientaci. Magnetoreceptory jsou ještě předmětem výzkumu.[1][2] Způsobem může být i symbióza s magnetotaktickým bakteriemi.[3] Takto orientovat se mohou například ptáci či obojživelníci.[4] Dále i například včely.[5] Dokonce i člověk může vnímat magnetické pole.[6]
