Walter Trout

Walter Trout (* 6. marec 1951, Ocean City, New Jersey, USA) je americký bluesový gitarista, spevák a skladateľ. Svoju kariéru zahájil koncom šesťdesiatych rokov v rôznych skupinách v okolí svojho rodiska. Neskôr sa presťahoval do Los Angeles, kde vytupoval napríklad s Percym Mayfieldom. Neskôr sa stal členom skupiny John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers a v roku 1989 založil svoju vlastnú skupinu nazvanú Walter Trout Band; neskôr začal vydávať albumy pod svojím vlastným menom. V roku 2014 sa rapídne zhoršiť stav jeho pečene a nutne potreboval jej transplantáciu. Zaplatenie operácie zaistili jeho fanúšikovia, ktorým sa cez internetové stránky YouCaring podarilo za jeden týždeň vybrať cez 130 000 dolárov.[1] V roku 2014 vyšla jeho autobiografia nazvaná Rescued from Reality.[2]
