Pegboard Nerds

Pegboard Nerds je dánsko-nórske duo tvoriace elektronickú tanečnú hudbu. Členovia sú nórsky DJ Alexander Odden a dánsky DJ Michael Parsberg. Spolu vytvorili mnoho skladieb v žánroch EDM, hlavne cez hudobné vydavateľstvo Monstercat, ktoré ich preslávilo. Ich prvou spoločnou skladbou bola „GunPoint“[1], ktorá je aktuálne nedostupná - len jej VIP mix, ktorý bol vydaný vydavateľstvom Monstercat.

Do roku 2011, Alexander Odden aj Michael Parsberg tvorili hudbu oddelene. Prvý krát sa stretli v roku 2005. V roku 2011 sa rozhodli, že sa spoja - no hudbu začali vydávať až o rok neskôr.

Populárna tvorba

Medzi ich najpopulárnejšie skladby patrí „Razor Sharp“[2] alebo aj „Disconnected“[3]. Tieto skladby boli najsledovanejšie skladby na YouTubovom kanály Monstercat, dokým ich nepredbehol Tristam & Braken.

21. októbra 2015, Pegboard Nerds vydali „Pink Cloud EP“, na podporu rakoviny prsníka. Táto skladba dosiahla druhé miesto v zozname najpredávanejších elektro albumov na iTunes (iTunes Dance Albums) a dostala sa do 10 najlepších tanečných albumov na Billboarde (Top 10 Billboard Dance albums)[4].

27. mája 2016 vydalo duo spolu s NGHTMRE a Krewella dubstep skladbu „Superstar“, ktorá na Beatporte dosiahla ocenenie Top Dubstep skladby.
