Osteň

Osteň (lat. aculeus) je krycia emergencia v podobe hrotitého útvaru, ktorý väčšinou vznikol premenou listu alebo jeho časti.

Na rozdiel od tŕňov má oddeľovaciu vrstvičku. Ostne má napríklad ruža.
