Luigi Cavalli-Sforza

Narodil sa v Taliansku. V rokoch 1951 až 1962 pôsobil ako profesor genetiky na University of Parma v Parme v Taliansku. Od roku 1970 pôsobí na Stanford University. Je emeritným profesor na School of Medicine na Stanford University.

V roku 2002 mu bola udelená The Kistler Prize. Je jedným zo zakladateľov Human Genome Diversity Project.
