Napísala 32 románov, všetky boli v zozname bestsellerov New York Times. Celkom sa predalo cez 500 miliónov výtlačkov jej kníh a boli preložené do 40 jazykov.[2][3] Osem z jej románov bolo sfilmovaných, buď ako filmy alebo televízne mini-série. Bola mladšou sestrou herečky Joan Collinsovej.
