Breaktrance je hudební žánr; kombinace různých breakbeatových a trancových (hl. uplifting trance a progressive trance) stylů. Obsahuje breakbeatovou rytmiku a typické trancové melodie apod. elementy, které z toho žánru dělají především podstyl trancu, nežli breakbeatu.
